Since 1965, Malhotra Modifiers has built seat covers, decals, radiators and auto-care products for tractors that work for a living — trademark-registered, export-licensed, and shipped direct from our own workshop.
Malhotra Modifiers did not begin as a company. It began with one man, a spray gun and a country that had almost no cars in it. Sixty years later the same family is still in the same town, doing the same trade — and every claim below is backed by a document you can open.
Our grandfather begins paint work in Delhi, at a time when very few cars existed in India. The trade is learned by hand, on whatever comes through the door.
The family settles in Yamunanagar, Haryana — home of Yamuna Syndicate, a tractor house operating there since 1946, part of the same industrial group as the sugar mill and heavy-engineering works. Ford 3600 tractors come through in numbers, and our grandfather takes the paint jobs. This is where the family learns tractors — and the Ford 3600 has been our signature machine ever since.

He stops working on other people's floors and opens his own: Malhotra Denting Painting & Mechanical Works. Our father joins him, the first employees are hired, and tractors and cars are painted side by side.

Car refinishing becomes the daily bread of the workshop — dents, panels, full respray — while the tractor work never stops.
The shop runs both trades at once: car bodywork and paint, and tractor paint and repair for farmers across the district.
The turning point. We stop only painting machines and start rebuilding them — engine overhauls, power-steering conversions and complete mechanical work, in-house.

The family trade begins the move to a documented, registered business — the paperwork behind the name our customers already knew.

Our tractor and auto-care products go live on Amazon and Flipkart, reaching buyers far beyond Haryana for the first time.

The name on the products is Malhotra Modifiers; the name on the papers is still Malhotra Denting Painting & Mechanical Works. We kept both, because we did not want to lose where it started.

Every tractor that comes through our gate follows the same route. Nothing is sent out — strip-down to handover happens under one roof in Yamunanagar.
The tractor is pulled apart to the bare chassis. Every panel, wiring loom and worn bearing is logged so you know what is being replaced before any money is spent.
